Ramayanam

The Bhuvana warp with honey-colored weft Kanjeevaram, meticulously crafted from pure badam thread, showcases intricate Ramayana motifs inspired by 90-year-old graph designs. The arraku border elegantly depicts Ram and Sita's swayamvar, while the pallu narrates key events from the Ramayana. Upon closer inspection, the features of the motifs reveal a raw aesthetic, distinct from the smooth motifs commonly found in contemporary sarees.

The first pett portrays the swayamvar, the second illustrates Kaikei and Mantra's discussion regarding the coronation, the third depicts Ahalya's curse being lifted by Rama, the fourth showcases Vishwamitra and Rama engaged in conversation, and the final pett revisits the swayamvar.

Facts about our quality: For 48 inch height saree we use 5200 silk warp.
