Limited edition saree! 

A saree customised for a client. Andhagalathu (yester years, from 1940’s) pattu saree in badam  colour and arakku stripes with arakku kattam on the body. There are alternating Benaras lines and butties within the kattam in pure zari. The border of the saree has retta pettu kodi flower motifs and neli. The pallu has the same retta pettu evenly spaced out.

Silk saree care instructions:

First rinse saree in clean water.

Apply good quality soap solution to border and pallu separately.

Do not soak saree for long time. Rinse saree immediately and line dry under shade as single without folding.

Press with gentle heat.

Do not beat or squeeze saree.
