kanjivaram korvai a customised revival from Andhagalathu ( decades old) for our clients amma! It’s an honour and a privilege to work with clients who are very involved during the curation process and are enthusiastic about collaborating on the design.

The saree is in Majanta with self kattams. The kattams are in the same colour as the border, but in lighter/ faded shade. The borders and pallu are in contrast chocolate brown. The border has retta pett design.

Silk saree care instructions

1. First rinse saree in clean water.
2. Apply good quality soap solution to border and pallu separately.
3. Do not soak saree for long time. Rinse saree immediately and line dry under shade as single without folding.
4. Press with gentle heat.
5. Do not beat or squeeze saree.
