Kalashetra (Thread work)

We at Svasthi have tried to revive  a classic pure silk saree in zari and thread work. The body of the saree is black shade with two stunning paisley’s in bright pink along two edges of the border. The pallu has two thick zari pett and thick zari jacquard in between two rows of thread work pett representing elephant (யானை ),horse (குதிரை ), and flower (புட்டா பூ )motifs in between zari pett borders. The border has the same thread work motifs and a jacquard strip in green in between the thread pett borders.

Yarn:  Double twisted pure Silk,  handwoven sari, pure zari

Length: 5.5 Meters + 0.90cms-1 meters attached silk blouse

Height: 1.23 meters

Weight: 590-620 gm

First Wash: Dry clean
