This saree showcases a traditional Kutni weave in eighteen colours. The olive warp and arrakku weft feature self-kattam (square) motifs woven throughout the body.
Handwoven using an exclusive technique - satin on top, cotton on bottom, this same technique, adapted with a silk base and satin weaves, creates the distinctive satin border. This weave enhances the border’s brilliance due to the high silk density; the thread count in the Kutni border is triple that of standard silk sarees.
Kutni weaving is an intricate process requiring the weaver to meticulously handle delicate, closely spaced silk yarns.

Facts about our quality: For 48 inch height saree we use 5200 silk warp.

Silk saree care instructions
- First rinse saree in clean water.
- Apply good quality soap solution to border and pallu separately.
- Do not soak saree for long time. Rinse saree immediately and line dry under shade as single without folding.
- Press with gentle heat.
- Do not beat or squeeze saree.
